Dayanand is a tribal farmer from a family of five living in poverty. His mothers application to the National Family Aid Scheme, was denied due to missing documents.
The ALK team supported him to get the documents in order and reapply, but also explained how he was eligible for a Milk Buffalo-rearing Scheme. Dayanand’s family received Rs. 20,000 ($244) from the government within just two months as well as Rs.62000 ($756) to buy two buffaloes. Today the buffaloes provide milk and a continuous income source for the family.

Adivasi Lokseva Kendra
Digitalization of applications and high service fees prevent the rural poor from accessing Government welfare documents and schemes they’re entitled to. The Adivasi Lokseva Kendra (ALK) acts as the last-mile connection between the online forms and Mokhada’s rural population.
We conduct awareness campaigns and camps, ensuring thousands of people each year receive the final certificates, documents or grant money they’re eligible for.
In 2022, our collaboration with ISRAAID enabled us to extend our reach to all 59 villages, benefitting 16,300 households. Watch this video to hear about our impact first hand.
